birth story: had 2nd sweep on Friday 23rd December, midwife told me to ring labour ward later that day to get a date to go and get induced incase my sweep didn't work, they rang me at 6pm asking me to go in that evening for them to start me off in the morning or that night due to me being 3cm dilated already, I went to hospital at 10pm they were really busy so couldn't induce me that night so I was put on a heart monitor to listen to baby, spoke to a doctor about my options (breaking my waters the next morning) I was told a consultant would come see me that night to scan me to see if baby was in the right position, he got called into theatre so at 2.30am the midwife came and told me to try and get some sleep and he'd come see me when he wasn't busy, just got comfortable when I felt trickling down my leg and my pjs getting wet, I went to the toilet in case was my plug but no it was my waters, I told the midwife told me to put a pad on for her to check in a hour, when she checked it was dripping! she told me she'd sort a room for me in the labour suite, got my room there at 4.30am by the time my hubby arrived at 5am I was 5cm my labour progressed quite fast, I had gas and air then later on I had diamorphine, at 7.45 I had the urge to push so just pushed spontaneously and at 7.57am my 9Ib 1oz healthy baby boy entered the world 💙
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
