Anyone had a newborn that was hard to feed? I'm starting to worry about my baby. I mean she sleeps all day and all night and she barely wanna eat cuz she just wants to sleep. It literally takes me an hour to feed her 2 oz sometimes 2 hours because it's a process for her to even eat. She is only 5 days old but I just didn't go thru this with my 1st. He slept a lot but he sure ate. Is this normal behavior or is something wrong. I just don't want anything to happen to her. Her appt is next wed tho so I guess I can double check with the dr.

I was like that when I was a baby. my mom had to physically wake me up and force me to eat because I was losing too much weight. make sure she has enough energy to be awake

My little girl did that all the time. She sucked and ate in her sleep though. so I wasn't too worried

@jsco, yea and that's what I been doing forcing her to eat because I don't wanna go to the appt next week and they say she losing weight.... so idk but it's so hard and time consuming

my mom fed me with a dropper because I would literally not latch or suck on a bottle. at least if she's eating a little maybe it won't be too bad. sorry im not more help!
