I just want to vent and hear some supportive words. I have a 22 month old boy and 2 month old boy. it's been a roller coaster since the new baby is born. My toddler has not accepted the baby. In addition to that, he's not sleeping at night. Sometimes wakes up in the middle of night and wants to run around the house. he is also a very picky eater. both these things are more pronounced since the second one is born. also, my toddler is not talking yet. he is in speech therapy for 2 months now. all of this is driving me crazy. I'm super exhausted. Sometimes I don't want to clean, cook or anything.

If it helps ease your mind any, I had a friend who didn't talk until she was five and she's a chemical engineer now. Some kids just talk later than others.

Just take it day by day mama. Somedays give yourself a break and let the dishes pile up or the toys lay on the floor. Go take a bath instead or sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea instead of cleaning. You can clean the next day. And it's ok to buy take out when your exhausted and tired. I feed my husband pizza or whatever at least 3x a month because I get tired of cooking and always having to come up with meals. Trust me my husband and daughter do not complain with pizza. Sometimes I just want food and not have to prepare it. Everyone needs a break.
