First night home from hospital last night with My baby boy.. was very overwhelming.. and I've got the baby blues 😒 he wouldn't settle in his Moses basket at all I tried continuously for 3 & half hours he was not giving in but as soon as I put him on my chest he was out for count.. slept 5 hours straight ( I didn't as I'm paranoid & still in pain from c section. Luckily my mother is off work and has come to my house to look after him for a few hours so i can catch up on lost sleep!! How long did it take for everyone's little ones to settle into home & the new surroundings??
I found that Evelyn would only settle on me at that age until my brother bought her a swaddle blanket and it was a life saver x
Probably 3 or 4 days & Max started to settle in his crib better. He'd still have unsettled hours every day. Usually between 7-10pm. But it will get better. They just need a bit of time adjusting to being out in the world.
Congratulations... it will pass... it took my lil girl about a week but took about 6/7 weeks to settle properly and get into a routine.. i have 3 children and they were all different... my 2 older boys settled pretty much settled straight away and got into a routine. I co-slept with mine though as breastfed.... its as much of a shock to them as it is us...things will get easier with time...xx
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Trigger. Our precious boy
Last night, December 8th, 2015, at 9:58pm, our sweet precious baby boy was born sleeping. We spent 5 wonderful hours with him: holding him, talking to him, singing to him, mourning him, praying for him, and weeping over him.

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
My husband went to the creek at 5 o'clock last night and has not been home since and I haven't even heard from him and we have some cook outs to go to today and he isn't home yet I will give him another 2 hours and I hope he shows up if he doesn't I guess I will be taking my ass down there to get him pathetic that my husband lied for one telling me he wasn't gonna be gone all night and he ended up being gone all night
He is still getting used to everything new smells noises ect. He will soon settle in your routines and your home soon enough
