In the beginning breastfeeding seemed impossible. We had issues with lip ties, cracked and bleeding nipples, we resorted breast shields and creams, even tried occasionally pumping to give my nipples a break. Then, after we had that tackled, we had some supply issues to work out. It took us a while to hit our stride but we finally made it. I wanted to give up a lot in those first few weeks, but I knew that if I did, I'd never forgive myself.

Now my daughter has the healthy start she deserves, because I fought for it. And that makes me feel like one amazing momma. 💪
