Please no judging here but my husband has litterally only ever bought our daughter a couple of tubs of milk litterally even though we live together and are married and all that and he very clearly loves her a lot, he also earns over 3 times as much as me and yet I'm left to pay for absolutely everything for her, I'm getting really sick of this esp when he comes home and says how he wants to buy himself loads of shit because app he never buys himself anything and every single penny I get goes on Leah, would I be completely unreasonable to ask him for the money that CSA would be taking off him if we weren't together?
Me and my OH get seperate money but its OURS.... not indivudual... also He does everything for me, pays bills, goes shopping for everything... he wants to do it as he says i have enough looking after our children..... if me and the kids need or want anything we tell him... he goes and gets it... of course i go shopping too and he gives me the money....
if your OH isnt gonna take it upon himself to get stuff for you/children etc then your well within your rights to as him for money... or if you work out the bills the tell him you want half monthly...xx
we just share our money xx whoever has money it's both of ours and we buy what we need xx it's worked for us xxx
Why dont you get a joint account? My OH refused to pay for anything and my 500 a month doesn't go far. so I suggested a joint account and we did it. best thing we ever did. we keep receipts so we don't overspend too.
Perhaps you need to try & sit down & between you both right down all your out goings etc & who currently pays for what. When he sees it on paper maybe he'll realise how little he's actually getting involved. Do you have a joint account? Joining both your money together may help splitting things evenly. My husband treats himself to bits here & there but as he covers the bills I don't think I can really say what he should or shouldn't be spending on himself lol.
hun i think you defenitly can ask him, i meam i'm comfatble enough to ask my oh gor money afterall its OUR money. men are easy when it comes to this stuff and i think we woman just over react. dont u think if you just talk to him and ask him how he feels about giving u money etc.? x
@sara-lou, I managed to buy enough nappies and wipes when I was pregnant to last us months and because of his job our rent and bills are covered before he gets his wages so it's litterally just his phone and stuff, like every item of clothing and toys and even her nursery furniture has all been paid by me then he blows his wages on rubbish so I'm left to pay for all our food and petrol and everything after the first week of the month, when I say to him he just says "if you want money just ask and I'll give you it" but I should t have to ask him, it's just really grinding me atm esp because I'm the one that's paid for all his families Christmas presents as well as my own family and Leah's presents then he still gets he has no money when he's bought nothing of any use x
Well I guess it depends what your wanting him to get. I manage to get milk, nappies, creams etc with my child benefit money so my husbands never had to buy those kind of things. He pays all our bills so I've always made sure he doesn't have one worry about the kids. Saying that he of course goes out & buys them clothes if he sees something he likes, toys etc. But I've never needed him to get essentials. Have you spoken to him about how you feel & you'd like him to be more involved in buying certain things? I think it would be weird asking for a certain amount of money every month as your together. But that's me.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
i’m honestly so upset. today was my boyfriend & i’s anniversary & i thought we would spend the whole day together but he decided to leave to go be with his friends. am i selfish for wanting him the whole day? :/
Keep the baby or Abortion.......
I'm 5 weeks pregnant which was not planned, told my family and there over the moon. I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years, we said we would be together no matter what. We both live with our parents and I'm in full-time work and he isn't. I've always wanted to be a mum it's one of my dreams, but my boyfriend thinks we should have an abortion because he thinks we are not ready, he doesn't have a full-time job and we are not living together. I don't believe in ab...
