No I haven't been able to cause my Medicaid has been acting up. 😭😭

But I have an appointment Friday hopefully for an appointment with an emergency Medicaid card since I'm pregnant but Medicaid should come through in a month hopefully 😭😭

this is my first too! so everything has been new for me. once you get to the dr you will have to get a pap, & you'll get your first ultrasound.

Dr appointments are really just talking, getting weighed, listening to baby's heart beat, occasional blood work and shots.

Most hospitals offer a maternity program. Here in Nv it's babies r beautiful or baby your baby. They have woman that will act on your behalf as an advocate. They apply for assistance, pre register, find an obgyn, make your 1st apptmt and help with any resources. They make everything process fast and you don't have to deal with government assistance offices.

After your insurance is approved your obgyn will be your best friend. Good luck mama!

first doctors appointment is simple.. they look for babies heartbeat . ... they tell you how far along you are. that's when I found out I was having twins.. and my doc office give you a "mommy packet" they draw blood make you take a pee in a cup and then tell you what you can and can't do.. what you can and can't eat... all that fun stuff

But the place I'm going to for my ob has helped me out so much better by getting Medicaid then dhs here. Because of them I can actually get an appointment. But I applied for Medicaid a month ago got approved but my Medicaid has still been inactive. With out my dr office I wouldn't have gotten it

That's awesome. Every little bit helps when your entering motherhood. You should try and head down to your local office and see a worker. They can fix it in the computer right then and there plus print out a verification letter.
