Stand near a boiling pot of water and let him breathe in the steam. Also, to help him breathe better get some ayr nasal gel. Rub it with a qtip on the insides of his nose and they breathe so much better I did for it my son and myself. You can get it at a Walgreens or rite aide. Walmart to I believe.

Also some baby Vick's vapor rub on the bottom of his feet help a lot to.

put a little bit of baby vicks in the bottom of his feet and put on socks, also a little on his chest and back

He won't like it .. but if you can get some of the nose drops specifically for babies (I have some by Little Remedies)- use the recommended amount and wait just a little bit (under a minute probably would be fine) & then use a booger sucker to suck out one side at a time while holder your finger over the opposite side.

Also, a doctor would most likely recommended a humidifier, but that's a little more costly. I think I did find ours for like 20-30 though, so it's not too bad. It really does help .. and not just babies !! Hope he gets to feeling better !!

The gel you can use as often as needed because it's not medicated. I swear by it. I used it on myself to make sure before giving it to him and I felt amazing. It keeps it nice and moist. His doctor recommended it. :)

I use nose mist for babies for mine..I need a humidifier though!

I also use the vicks vapor rub on her feet sometimes if it's bad...she hasn't been sick yet, just a dry nose.
