So back in August I got my IUD in but I went back last Monday because something didn't feel right. My Dr checked me and said that my IUD was at the bottom of my cervix where she could see it when she opened me up. I'm not sure if I wanna go back and get it again after that happen. Has anyone else had problem's with it?

@camjay0816 no but I had a lot of other issues with having it. I had it for 5 years and my Dr keep saying,oh as long as the string is there its fine its fine. I know something was wrong bc I started having dizzy spells to the point where I was passing out. Starting see a neurologist and he discovered that the iud had embedded into my uterus

I may continue to do the shot. I tried the patch and had horrible headaches off of them. With the pill sometimes I forget to take them.

@camjay0816, Yes i would change birth control , i know ive seen a lot of people have their period over a month with the IUDs . I would say continue with the shots or a patch or do pills which seems more better
