Ok so this is not mom related but it is lady related lol. I need makeup help! I cant ever find my shade in anything! Ive been watching a lot of videos on youtube about makeup. Like tutorials and Dos and Dont videos and such. Ive always liked makeup and i have fun putting it on. I even considered a career in cosmetology at one point. But anyways im sitting here watching these videos and i realised about 6 or so videos in that most of the women doing the videos are more tan or go through a lot of trouble making themselves tanner. There are very few women ive seen doing beauty videos who have a naturally pale complexion. And the few I did see either used a ton of bronzer or self tan. Which is fine. Do you, you know? But as a was realizing the shortage of paler women doing these videos i realized that there arent a whole lot of products out there for pale women either. I myself have to mix a damn near white concealer into the lightest foundation i could find to find a shade that matched my face and neck. And my foundation is in the shade "Porcelain" And its honestly too orange/yellow/tan to be anywhere near a match for my pale skin. And I cant even find concealer in a light enough shade to work with my already improvised foundation. The contour supplies ive found all have orangy undertones too that make me look like i rubbed self tanner on my face. Theres nothing that ive been able to find thats not ungodly expensive thats neutral or "cool" toned enough for my skin. Its honestly really frustrating because I love makeup..But when you cant find your right shade in anything it gets frustrating! There needs to be a broader range of shades for foundation and concealer. And not just for pale women but for dark skinned ladies as well! I see a lot of women with beautiful complexions who cover it up with all these products that dont match their natural tone because these products dont exist! Ladies if you know anywhere i can find products for my pale skin please comment and let me know where to get them. I dont have a huge budget so be aware that im not likely to pay 40 bucks for foundation. Any help finding foundation, concealer, and a cool toned contour palette would be so helpful. Im thinking of starting a youtube channel for us pale skinned ladies but only if i can find products to use and recommend! Let me know if youd watch my videos if i put up a channel too!
