no don't pump doctors advise against it until baby is born. your body will dilate when it's ready

I wouldn't personally. Your baby needs to stay in. There is crucial developmental issues going on in baby's brain and lungs. Forcing baby out is not a good idea. They will come when their ready. 37 weeks is still pre term labor. 39 weeks is full term. if you are not dilating baby isn't ready. I understand your probably tired and just want baby here but it's not worth having your baby on the NICU and leaving the hospital empty handed because you were impatient and forced him out. I've been having contractions and dilating but I'm hoping to make it to 39 weeks so baby gets everything he needs. I would hate to leave the hospital again without my baby.

No do not pump. The baby needs the first milk that comes through

Why would you pump before having the baby?
