Question: How long after getting baby's 2 month shots did you ladies wait to pierce your baby's ears? I know basically everywhere I've looked and asked has said they won't do it until baby has their 2 month shots, and I asked her doctor what he thought and he said if she has her shots then she should be okay to get them done soon; my little one got hers yesterday and I want to have her ears pierced while she's still young (and if she hates them later in life she's more than welcome to take them out...for those who may feel compelled to comment that I should do it when she's old enough to make that decision on her own) I'm not trying to run out and get them done right this second, but I was thinking of getting them done before Christmas

I got my daughters ears pierced at 3 months since that was the youngest the places in my area would do them
@beebaby, okay! thanks! I'll probably wait until early-mid January in that case; I talked to her pediatrician about it yesterday because I wanted to know if they still did it in the office (I went to the same office as a kid and they used to do it when I was younger) but they don't do it anymore so I've been looking and found a few places willing to do it as long as she's gotten her shots

Omg. I'm in a mommy group on Facebook and this lady posted pictures of her 1 WEEK old daughters tongue and asked what it could be. How do you ladies feel about a baby getting her ears pierced? My friend got her daughters ears pierced and she's 2 months old. My daughter is 3 months old and I can't help but think how adorable she would look. What are some pros and cons of piercing their ears so young? At what age did you pierce your daughter's ears? And did you do it at Clair's, Walmart, or if neither... Where?
Thinking about getting my daughters ears pierced in the next two weeks. i Dnt want to see or hear her cry, but i think it's better if i do them now, then to wait for when shes abit older, it will be more painful. Any mommy's wit daughters, how old did you get her ears pierced or when are u planning on getting them done?

Yeah you should be fine to do it before Christmas! Most people I know do it a week or two after their baby's 2 month shots.
