Has anyone fed their 8+ month old eggs? I read that egg yolks are okay, but not the whites until a year old. Anyone else heard this?

I feed my 8 month old scrambled eggs with spinach, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and milk in it.

the whites can cause allergies before 1yr which is why they say yolks only

My doctor said to wait until 7 or 8 months but just said to scramble it and cook it all the way. never mentioned anything about splitting them up.
