I need honest opinions mommy. No bashing please. My baby turned 3 months on the 13th. She never gets full. We tried her on rice cereal and she did so good with it. I read that at 4 months you could try them on baby food. I was thinking of trying her on it now since she seems to do so good. What do y'all think?

My baby has been on baby food part of the time since she was 2 months. Only apple sauce though. She loves it and when she's constipated it works wonders. People judge me so harshly for it but it doesn't even show signs of tearing up her stomach like everyone says it'll do.

well. my parents have given all of my kids a fried egg at a week old. given, i was having a heart attack, but they are alive and healthy, so im sure baby food would be fine!

If your baby is ready I would definitely say try a little every day. But definitely make sure that breast milk/formula is like 95% of her daily intake. @mommyofsummerfaith
she should be fine, they only say to spread out the feedings just in case for allergies but that's all

@navywifej, she's 3 months but I have her some mashed potatoes today and she tore them up so I think she would be fine. I may get a jar or 2 and try her out
I tried my son on baby food at 4 months :) his first food was carrots and he loved it! some people start at 6 months
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤
OT. rant! forward facing early ok, so in my birth month forum (October 2012) someone posted a picture of their lo riding in the car in a forward facing seat! what???? it baffles me when parents do this. I'm not trying to offend anyone.. but why do ppl do this?? the oldest baby in our birth month is 9 months, she was 3 months premature. but even at 9 months I wouldn't have my child forward facing.
How do you discipline an 11 month old? Shes been so bad lately and if you tell her no she doesn't listen.
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

I started my daughter on baby oatmeal at 3 months because she would eat and eat. sosmetimes 10 oz still didnt fill her up. the doctor told me once they start showing signs to start slow and introduce things. i mix her formula with the oatmeal for flavor and she can eat perfect at 4 months with a spoon.
