I am finding it increasingly difficult to find balance between needing to discipline and showering with love. My oldest (he's almost 9) goes to Disney World aka his father's house, every other weekend, and he's the fun parent who does zero disciplining because he only parents part time - mind you, he wasn't even present in his son's life until 2 years ago! So here my husband and I are, being the mean parents because we actually have rules. 🙄 I feel defeated sometimes because my husband (who has actually been DAD since jump) and myself are the ones who have to discipline because we are actually full time parents, but then my son feels like we are the bad guys. 😓
