Has any of you women have wanted a specific gender of baby so bad and receive the opposite?

My husband and I both wanted a girl very badly and we got a girl, same with a coworker of mine. Her husband already had 2 boys and he absolutely did not want another boy and they got their girl! :)

when I was pregnant I specifically remember only wanting a boy. I would speak to my stomach and refer to my child as a he and him and boom that's what I was blessed with.

@klp16 @muttblood thanks girl that make me feel much better.. you guys dont know how my hopes of having a girl went a little more higher.. i know my God and the virgen mary will grant us our little girl. yesterday that was the Virgen Mary day. i prayed that if she gives me my little girl i would bring her to her dress as a little indian or as a virgen mary. an the last time i went to a retreat at the mountains i prayed so much as well. As we Catholic said faith can do miracle..

My SO and I wanted a boy really bad but thought it was a girl. It is a boy and we are over the moon.

I wanted a girl soooo bad and my boyfriend wanted a boy. I was devastated when I found out he was a boy. I still want a girl but I'm glad I've got my baby boy

We wanted a boy soo bad and ended up with a girl if you don't get what you want it takes a minute to set in but then it's just as wonderful lol

My friend wanted a girl. She got a baby girl. My bfs cousin wanted a boy. She's pregnant with her baby boy. My bfs Tia wanted a girl. She got a baby girl. Lol
