Lol girl.. you're asking for opinions, and then say you don't want anybody telling you their opinions to comment... uhhhhh 🙃

i bought baby oatmeal. its a little smaller then normal. but when I make it i use formual instead of water to give her a little flavor with the plain oatmeal. My mom told me to just chop up normal oatmeal and that would be fine but buying a big container for 4 dollars seemed so much easier then having to do the work. Cx Everyone has different opinions. One thing ive learned in my short time in mother hood is to do what feels best and safe for your baby. i get yelled at all the time but lately i just shrug it off.

Most "how to parent" books are actually written by people that dont have children and for some reason everyone knows how to "parent" better.

@karramaej ya when 6 oz isn't making my daughter satisfied and she's screaming til I give her more and she's showing all the signs my dr said she would be showing if she's ready, then ya it's time lol there's so much info good and bad sometimes I go crazy reading it. just when I think I'm doing one thing I read something that makes me think something else ugh!! lol might be a stupid question but do u just make the oatmeal like you'd make for an adult water and the dry oats?

I would say spoonfeed gives them practice!!! Lol

My daughter is 4 months and her doctor recommended to start feeding her baby food. Every doctor is different and recommends different ways. So dont listen to the grump above me. My daughter had major constipation some days and diarrhea others when she just had formula. I personally like to feed my daughter her oatmeal with a spoon but thats just because its helping her get used to eating real food. my mom bottle feed all 4 of her kids with rice in the formula. my doctor also pointed out it cant be a huge chock hazerd if you are the one feeding them. Atleast thats how my doctor sees it.
