My kid is EBF. but every time he is bottle-fed he throws up massive amounts and it comes out his nose. Amy advice on how to make the bottle feeding process better especially since he will probably start day care next year.
@jaxmama minbie. he usually uses the XSlow nipple but tonight he used the 1+ nipple
thanks @babyjunebug @lexonmars will research now so I can show to other family members
@lexonmars I actually have a few Dr. browns never even opened the package. hmm... may start using them now.
Search paced bottle feeding. The milk is coming out of the bottle too quickly for him. He needs to sit upright and have the bottle more horizontal. It happened to my little girl and she would just throw up everywhere after a bottle.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Eugh I can never tell what he wants, so hes up crying every hour and i got him back to sleep just rocking him didnt want a bottle then 3 am comes and hes not settling he just keeps kicking so i try the bottle and he drinks the whole damn bottle but he isnt even crying or waking up for it though. You cry when you dont wsnt a bottle and you dont cry when you do? I can never tell what he needs its so frustrating.
Ladies, I need help with my 3 month old. He is refusing the bottle. I have tried tommee Tippee and Mam Bottles but no luck there. The only way he will take it is if I trick him by breastfeeding him and then inserting the bottle mid feeding. I need some tips on how to overcome this!!!
The flow may be a little fast or your lo may be getting some air which can cause gas, colic, reflux, etc. a lot of times when people breastfeed and give in to a bottle early and the baby ends up preferring bottles it's because the flow is different and they figure out that it comes faster, easier, and with less work from the bottle. In your case, lo may just not like the flow of a bottle. I recommend trying different bottles. My son was ebf and when I started to wean him to bottles he was VERY picky! The only ones he would like were the munchkin latch bottles. Good luck tho I hope you figure something out for your lo!
