Hello Ladies, I went doctors today to confirm my pregnancy and doctor said do I want to go for a hiv screening. anyone know what happens when you go for one?

It's routine with your booking bloods. U don't need to do anything for it, only give consent they can test the extra blood
I know tomorrow the doctor is going kill me getting rid of this boil...will they keep me over nite???

When you first found out you were pregnant and went to the doctor did your SO go with you and were they allowed to go in the back with you? I want him to go with me to the doctor but I don't want him to just be sitting in the waiting area.
Please help! My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
I'm going to the doctor I think I have pre clampsyia.....does that mean I can't go to my baby shower this weekend?
