@mummagordon, they want to monitor me because there was only 13months between them they didnt want the scar tissue to tear xx

how come you have to stay in due to your computer section just woundering as I had one but never had to stay in or had an issue hope you don't mind me asking xxx

This is how I am. If there isn't a constant flow of fluid running through them they tissue off. I had one placed deep in my vein roughly where u have it for labour. If they put them anywhere else they stop working after 1 hour sometimes less. I had one the wrist a few weeks back that tissued off badly and caused me pain for weeks. I'm equally as bad at getting blood from. They have to send the anesthatist down for me when I need a line in as rarely a do can get one in and work.

@mimibear, Thats the only vain i have they can use all my ones in my hand collapsed its been that way since i was a child but i know what you mean its a pain in the arse for me they have told me they need to put another one in the same place later this evening😩 ive already had three in a week! X

they should have never sited it there in the first place X more likely to tissue when the place it there plus not very practical x

@mimibear, i couldnt bend it because its in my elbow crease but they have taken it out now because my hand as swolen and my ring was cutting off the circulation to my finger x

if it's swollen and you can't bend it you need them to take it out and resite it! it's probably tissued X
