It's my birthday on Friday and it's also my partners works xmas do.... so he's not done anything for my birthday and he's going out on his works doo? I'm upset about this and he's saying I'm over reacting? Can anyone else see why I'm upset?? Or am I really been stupid?

I'd be upset. however if you hadn't planned to do anything maybe he thought you didn't want to so Said he'd go to the works do. or he just didnt think, men have a habitat of that xx

Neither of us go out often so I wouldnt mind if my husband went to his xmas do. If it unfortunately landed on my Birthday. As long as he did something nice like make me breakfast in bed or have a nice evening together the night before or after. But yeh if he's not planning on doing anything for you that's a bit low.
