You can get back pain and headaches as a side effect of the epidural or spinal block, as others have said. But I had I natural birth and had significant back pain for a week or so after. I think because for so many months the body is carrying all that weight at the front of the body and then all of a sudden it's gone. In either case it should resolve on its own in a week or two, and you can take Advil or Motrin for the pain. If you still have pain after 2 weeks, let your dr know because you may have injured something during pregnancy or delivery.

Mines hurted like crazy for maybe three days but now it doesn't bother me. Eventually it'll die down did they give you ibuprofen?
