I'm going to make him take the class my next pregnancy . There's no hope this time around. I did print off a sheet from the Red Cross that gives simple step by step that I hung on my refrigerator . So at least he knows the information is there... I just feel like if something ever did happen you are too panicked to think "oh there's info on the fridge" lol like it's a matter of life and death every second . Either way at least he has seen the info I guess . This man frustrates me sometimes . Also the reason we didn't take the class the first pregnancy is because health insurance wouldn't cover that one and it was almost $200 😓we should have just bit the bullet and done it . @babynessa,

He probably doesn't think he'll ever need it. My husband said men like to see facts so show him statistic and maybe he'll change his mind. What my husband had to see before he insisted we learn how to do CPR and the heimlich remover for our daughter. We actually learned from our daughter's at home nurse. She came to our house with a blow up baby a video and we practiced at home. She also showed us on our daughter where to place our hands and what to do if something where to happen if only one of us was home alone with her vs if we both were home with her. We also practiced on the blow up baby along with actually practice as if our daughter stopped breathing or choking. The whole process from placing her flat on the ground, chest compressions, breathing and who would do what and what I would do of I was alone with her. We also practiced as if we were in public what to shout and what to do. It's also good to learn in case you see a child you don't know in need. You could save a child's life by knowing something so simple.
