How does everyone deal with being told they are not a mom yet when they are pregnant with their child. I have a step daughter that is my world. She is 18 months. It kills me being told I am not a parent.
I guess because its a lil different when your baby comes. even though you live your step daughter, things are just different with you own child. i have 4 step babies and 4 of my own. i love my step kids to heaven and back and would do anything for them, but its still not the same as growing a baby in your tummy for 9 months and going through labor and seeing them for the first time.
It kills me tho because I take better care of my stepdaughter than her mother does
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I'm not a step parent but i def feel like im already my son's mother. Obvi, things will take a step forward into the realities of being a mother to my child outside of my body, but from day one, I've already considered myself a mother. A parent. It started immediately for me 💖
