So I made the decision to not breastfeed. I will pump and supplement. Jace is having issues with the bottle and gets worn out easily to where he can't finish his bottle before needing the feeding tube. I know breastfeeding is even harder work and he dsats a lot when bottle feeding and I don't want to risk having to remove him so much from the breast. I feel like this is the best solution for us. It's hard to believe that he's a week old already! I want him out of the nicu!

34-35 weeker right? Hoping he won't be in the nicu too much longer. Breastfeeding is hard work, and so is pumping. Do whatever is best for you and baby 💋

I meant straight from the breast but yes I am @nightdaughter he was one day shy of 35 weeks. Thank you. I hope he gets better soon. Once he tackles feeding a bit better we can try the breast again beings he's mostly getting bm anyway. @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom
