What is everyone's arrangements with their SO's regarding chores?
Me & my husband both work full time so our agreement is I cook & clean the kitchen & he gives our son a bath & cleans the rest of our apartment ... now that I'm 8months pregnant he helps more with cooking/washing dishes .
do you... Clean up after your SO is done cooking? Or vice versa? DF was cooking and while he was cooking I unloaded the dish washer and hand washed the pot he had used and put dishes in the dish washer, so by the time he got his plate, dishes were done and left overs were in Tupperware on the counter just in case anyone wanted seconds and counters were wiped down. The room mate asked me why I do that, and I just say that's how I was raised. I always clean up after anyone cooks in the house, even after myself. I clean as I cook, so DF doesn't clean up because it's done before dinner is finished lol. But there's rare occasions where he'd be in the kitchen while I cook so he does help out with the cleaning since i cook during the day sometimes so we can heat it up when it's dinner time. I want everyone to get their first and seconds before I eat. My mom has taught me to always clean up after your spouse makes dinner, it's only fair. They put their effort into cooking, you should always help them out.
My 80/20 problem... My husband really is a wonderful man! He is a good provider, the best father, a hard worker, he helps me clean and cook when I need him to, he is faithful, and all around a really great guy!

He told me he was going to clean the dining room two months ago. It's finally getting cleaned
He always comes home to a clean house and now he's complaining that I don't spring up every morning to cook him breakfast at 8 am. he makes me feel like shit sometime.

Well ian will never wash the dishes or clean the bathroom lol ugh. But he does laundry and vacuums and straightens up and does everything outside. I can't tell you the last time I cut grass or took out the garbage... phew

I do everything , I prefer doing it my self lol when hubby cooks he makes a huge mess and when he cleans he does it to fast lol , I can't do it like that I love that he helps but no i got it , he cleans the cars and takes trash out ..
