Is it normal for newborns to sleep on their side? my 5 day old keeps doing it.

his first appt is on the 16 th @mamato1 but we both have a check up tomorrow at l&d
make an appointment with his pediatrician, ask him/her ALL the questions you can think of. being a first time mommy was very scary for me but getting help from the doctor's actually helps a LOT. I actually found myself at my daughter's pediatrician's office once a week until she was 5 weeks with more questions, LOL
yeah we have a cosleeper @mamato1 . he just breathes funny sometimes and it makes me panic for a minutw
my daughter did it, still does actually. I guess it's normal but to be safe you can put a blanket on both sides of your baby to keep him on his back while sleeping... also, they have a infant sleeper where you can have your lo co-sleep with you while keeping an eye on him
my son does, sometimes I put him on his side too because I feel more comfortable with him on his side incase he spits up or something, honestly think it seems safer.
