Finally have my induction date🙄. I feel like I waited forever man🙄😂.. My OB appointment went well nd the best news was I'm doing good and baby, I havent gain that much weight nd news about my induce date. Today was a overall good day at the doctors office.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Had a doctors appointment today. He said if I go over my due date, he'd either schedule me Thursday the 6th or Friday the 7th depending on what else goes on. He said it could happen anytime, but my body isn't doing anything to prepare for labor, so it's going to be awhile. Still feeling hopeful that I won't need to be induced. He said she's doing great, so that's all I care about.
Please help! My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
Induction Now, I doubt I will need to be induced. But it's still my fear that I will need to be because of an emergency or if I go too far past my due date. My question is, has anyone ever been induced and been able to do the rest med free? All I hear is horror stories from induction that end in back labor, or contractions so painful and long that the mom needs an epi and sometimes C sections. My goal is med free but I realize that things can change.

I got induced and had mine vaginally. With an epidural and having to position the epidural again cause it wore off

it'll all be ok. it's a normal reaction when you're not sure of an outcome.

@sicoyaa, I'm just nervous lol and @ainsleighsmumma I'm hoping baby just needs a little push and he comes just as easy too. 😩 I guess it's just scary because I actually see it coming this time, my first I went into labor but they had to break my water and gave me like one dose of pitocen and I went from a 3-10 in like 3 hours. I was stuck at a 3 and my contractions were just getting worse but no progress that previous night so that morning it was like 7am they broke my water started pitocen then boom 10 I had her and didn't push much.

My induction went amazing. I was in labor for 14 hours 12 of it I was dilated to a 1cm but thinning slowly with the pill they insert the last 2 hours I went from a 2 to a 10 and had her in 3 pushes. They didn't even have to do the pitocin and I wasn't even thinned or anything when they started it. I was 39 weeks and 5 days.

the baby will be fine. you just have to stay calm. as long as you're not getting all worked up about the procedure or anything else, your baby will be fine.

@sicoyaa, my main concern is baby getting stressed, that's always the reason to why they rush into emergency csections and idk I'm just hoping I'm dilated a little more and it makes me feel more comfortable about being induced

oh wow, i'm 60%. my baby hasn't dropped any either. I was told being induced isn't as bad if you've started dilating already. they normally start the process early in the morning, like around 6. it can take anywhere from 6-12 hours for you to start feeling contractions

@sicoyaa, I'm 2 cm dilated & about 70% effaced but baby's at a -2 so he's still pretty high... that was from last weeks appointment. I'm hoping there's progress Wednesday at least it will keep my mind at ease that being induced won't be so bad. My due date is tomorrow

yhea. i'm nervous too. i'm scheduled to be induced thursday because i've been at 2cm dilated for 2 weeks and my cervix is not really thinning. my doctor is scared for me to go past my due date (which is saturday) because my blood pressure flare up at times.

@sicoyaa, see and that's what I'm afraid of. My daughter was only 7lb 1oz when I had her. So almost 9 is a big difference... I know usually the weight is off but still why chance it. I'm just nervous I guess.

the bigger the baby, the harder labor is for you when you start pushing. my aunt had to have an emergency csection because my cousin was 8 pounds 9 ounces and it was hard on her to push him out
