the good thing is that they could snip it and she will be fine within a few minutes. My son had a bad to gue tie and we got it snipped and cried for a few seconds. Once I latched him on he was fine :)

Lactation nurses aren't usually qualified in that area of expertise. I would try to find a preferred provider in your area. If there is a lip tie there is almost always a tongue tie.
