My one month old has a cold I'm a first time mom what should I do? I heard they can't have vapor rub and he's having trouble breathing through his nose ):
Also if you are bf instead of putting saline in his nose you can actually put some bm and it helps break down the boogers and make it easier to suction them out
You can steam up the bathroom and sit with him in there for a few minutes. If you breastfeed then feed as much as possible so your body can create antibodies to help fight it. I have this organic vapor rub I can't remember the name of it but it's all natural ingredients and it helps I rub a little in my daughters feet and put socks on. A humidifier is good too if you have one. Unfortunately when they are that little there's not much you can do. My daughter is 9 months and just got sick for the first time ever and there's not much I can do for her either :/. Lots of cuddles and breastmilk !
Have u tried the honest company vapor rub it's not near as strong as Vicks I use it on my son but only a dime size dot on his chest and bottom of his feet he has never been sick but I always use it after bath time
my doctor recommended getting a humidifier and I put the Vicks liquid in it and it helps a lot
Hot steamy shower, let of steam up the room (door closed) then sit in there with baby for 5-10 minutes
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
