Go settings, notifications, snapchat, turn sounds off.

So once you open your settings app. You'll hit "notifications". That'll pull up every app you have downloaded that gives you notifications. Scroll down until you find snapchat (it's in alphabetical order). Then click on snapchat. And you'll want it to look like this.
