@caffeinechaos, that's crazy. Why does it seem like they never listen? they asked me if I was getting my son circumcised and I said no. then they asked me again and again and then the day after he was born the doctor came in and was like ok we're going to circumcise him today. I was like NO YOU'RE NOT. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience.

I had a wonderful experience. My doctor was super encouraging and my nurse's were so nice. Food was good and they respected all my choices.

@pandypawow mine was similar. it was horrible i told the doctors i had low platelets since about 17 weeks pregnant. and the hospital acted like they were just finding out. they induced me on the 23rd of dec my water broke on the 24th no epidural bc of my low platelets i have high anxiety and was being yelled at to not panic bc it stresses the baby. yeah on pain and with like 5 people looking at my junk i should be perfectly calm ha. i told them i wanted a c section they told me to keep pushing then my sons oxygen dropped and they had no choice but to do an emergency c section on th 27th of dec so 4 days of hectic labor to just end up with a c section

I had preeclampsia, so they brought me in sooner. Tried to induced me for 3 days but didn't work so they just broke my water for me, was in labor for a while then decided to do a c-section I didn't want because I wasn't dialated enough and he was trying to come out. They let my epidural run out, rushed me into surgery and didn't give me enough pain medication so I felt them cutting me open. I started to get really cold because I lost too much blood. Then because I felt everything the whole time they were pumping with drugs they kicked in after they got him out, so I was drugged up when I got to see him finally. Then they kept me 3 more days saying they were going to keep us longer, and I said no I'm leaving. They lied to me saying if I left that son was going to die and if be charged for the whole week long hospital stay and my insurance wouldn't cover it, which they were. It was just horrible.

mine was wonderdul. the nurses were noce, food was great, during delivery I had a rude nurse but my ob corrected it quick

@beebaby, that's horrible I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. It was very inconsiderate.

I had a wonderful stay other than they took my son to the nursery for a while when I said I didn't want him in there other than when he had to
