I'll try it out but I just feel bad about letting him go to bed hungry, he's still not big on eating meats to but he'll kill some veggies he is so little and his brother eats everything and he's solid @beebaby

I'm with your MIL. Make him eat what you cook. Kids will be picky anyway but it will teach him to appreciate what's cooked that night. And learn to eat what's cooked or go hungry. After going hungry one day, he'll get the drift of not being as picky. I grew up in a house with my grandma and mom. Granny cooked and that was it. Either you eat or go hungry. Only time we had a option of what to eat was Friday (cause she got fish and we had pizza) and Satrday she let us choose between the options she gave us ( spaghetti, hot dogs, etc.) but we had to choose one as a unit or she would choose for us on Saturday and that was it. And when we didn't want what she cooked during the week we would have to sit there for a while then she would make us go take a bath and go to bed early.

My mom always made me eat what she cooked. The only time she made me a separate meal was when they were all eating meatloaf haha my sister allowed my nephew to be a picky eater. He's almost 3 and it's a nightmare when it's time to eat. I haven't gotten to this though since my baby is only 8 months. Maybe it's easier said than done lol

I'm going to try to crack down before it gets out of hand and he thinks he can eat whatever he wants, we went to her house to stay for thanksgiving break and she seen me asking him what he wanted to eat and she went off and said he doesn't need an option he better eat what yall make for him, I realized that I was the cause of him being so picky @nolans1stlove

You don't like meatloaf?! what? llh but yea my son is 3 now and I've pretty much been asking him what he's in the mood to eat since he could respond and it hasn't been working out too well lately, it is hard because you want them to enjoy what they eat too but my son is a brat when it comes to food now so I have to stop. @jaxmomma
