HELP!!! I'm 15 weeks and STILL not had my bloods taken. I'm absolutely petrified !! Can someone give me help or advice ?…

cant be worse than my experience...i had a student take my bloods and she said to me "im not sure if im doing this right" ..my arm went purple and i had pins and needles so the student got an actual nurse and she said "omg youre doing it wrong " i couldnt have been more petrified i nearly passed out. luckily that was just one time and the others times ive had my bloods done have been fine 😧

@baybiijord, oh thank you! I really need to stop holding it of ! It's important. And it's making me feel like a bad mummy for not doing it and makes me cry CUs I feel like I'm letting my baby down. The thought of them just my whole body go funny! I'll do it tomorrow ! And omg everyone says that. I've got a full sleeve aswell 🙊😂

ohh if uve had tattoos u have nuffin to worry about hun.. this will be like a breeze for u then.. its over within a minute or so.. so dont work ur self up u will be just fine. just a little sharp scratch.. it stops bleeding within a few minutes of them doing then @dellastokes

@ells123, oh I dunno I might be worse when I new I had to have blood tests I cried and threw up. It was so pathetic and embarrassing but it absolutely scars me 😥🙊 I really don't understand why ! 😳🙊

@baybiijord, I'm not scared of needle I have loads of tattoos and will get an injection ! I'm just so petrified of the thought of a need actually going into my vein is a strange over whelming fear. It's weird I'm not acted of anything ? I have loads of tats and piercings just the thought of blood test absolutely frighten me 😫😥

I have had more than 8 blood tests so far due to some complications. And I never look when they take. It hurts a bit 😥xx

hi @dellastokes if u dont like needles my best bet is dont look.. a little trick to take ur mind of whats happening have ur fone in ur hand and play a game or text. and within minutes its all over.. they will put a tourniquet (strap around ur upper arm, and get u to pump or clench ur fist) its a little sharp scratch that doesnt realy hurt just a little pinch feeling and they are quick.. dont panic as its nuffin hun.. this is the best advice i can give as im not scared of needles and i always watched them do it as im fine with it lol xx

Depends on how many tubes of blood they will take :) so could be a few seconds or a few minutes xx

Sharp scratch :) Nothing more than that :) doesnt hurt xx
