@dawnrose I know but the way he puts me and my siblings down is so harsh you wouldn't think of that from a father. My mom is supportive. She said whatever makes me happy. I want to be a cosmologists. My SO supports my choice too. My dad says things like it'll take me nowhere with my life thats not good money I'll be poor with a job like that. He talks down about my sisters weight too. Shes 14 and kind of chunky but she promised the nutrientist she'll loose some weight by next month and shes doing it good. But he'll say things like stop eating you're too big you dont need to eat that you're gonna get fat and sick. Like dude shes 14 shes gonna slim out she still has alof of growing to do. He cant say anything about how my brother is doing because hes not my brothers dad but before he use to tell him he was nothing cause my brother dropped out HS and was smoking weed. Now my brothers 26 with 2 kids a house a full time job and lives in San Diego.

@dawnrose he is a dick. The thing with my dad is he wants to be 100% right. If something isn't about him he isn't happy. He tried to tell me he wanted to be with my son on his 1 st birthday. I said we are spending the day with my boyfriend. Its our sons 1st birthday. My dad got pissed snd said no I want him. My mother went off on him. She cant stand my dad. My dad lives almost 2 hours away from where we live so I get he wants to see my son whenever he can but you can't say no I want him on HIS 1ST BIRTHDAY. Thats our day. My dad never wants to see what hes done wrong. Hes on the edge of going to jail for 9 months to 3 years a motorcycle dui which led into an accident and he broke his leg. But he wants to sue. He was the drunk driver!

@dawnrose I dont talk to my dad much. I tend to just hi and bye to him when he calls or texts me. I ignore it but deep down it hurts to know my own father is not supportive and can be so cruel
