I just read your comment and would much prefer the sweep over being induced. I've only been induced once and would never let anyone induce me again. It was a horrible experience. They aren't always right when they tell you you're going to have a big baby. I know everyone is different but I have friends who were told they were having 9-10 pound babies who birthed 7-8 pound babies. With my third I was told to expect a small baby but she was born 9pnd 1oz. Our bodies are made to birth our babies. Try not to be worried..all the best x

I had one done with my first at 41+5 and it didn't work. Had another with my second at 40+3 which did work..I went into labour that night. Then had another with my third, I was given 3 sweeps from 39 weeks to 41 weeks and none of them worked. I'm now pregnant with #4 and personally wont put myself through that again. I know how eager we are to meet our babies and get over pregnancy but I think baby will come whenever it's ready.

Ill be 38 weeks they wanted to induce me because I'm having a big baby and I had my daughter really quick they want to monitor me but I said no to being induced but not sure about stretch and sweep

I had 1 done when I was overdue. I didn't really want it but the Dr did it anyway, a few days later bub came naturally.
