Random Rant: I'm a younger mommy to be. I'll be 20 10 days after my daughters due date, January 7th. I have quite a few friends that are also expecting either their first or second child, and they all complain about how they're getting "fat". It really bothers me, I love being pregnant! And trust me, I haven't had the most pleasant pregnancy. But never once have I felt like my weight was getting out of hand, I have gained 36 lbs. Which I am very proud to say I gained; I was only 94 lbs when I got pregnant and it was an unhealthy weight for me. I'm only 4'11 but you could still see my spine and my ribs. My metabolism is just really fast. But these past 8 1/2 months have blessed me with a beautiful 36 lbs that I have been trying to gain back for two years!
that will b hard. the baby will be 5-8 pounds more than likely, plus you'll lose the water weight & the placenta weight.
@heatherlg88, that's what I'm afraid of! lol I don't want to lose more than 5 lbs of my pregnancy weight.
I'm 5'8 & pre pregnancy I was 108. I ended up being 142 the day I had my daughter🙌 I was so happy with my weight gain too. I weigh 117 now & am sad I didn't keep the 35 or so pounds I gained during pregnancy but atleast I kept some. I've always been underweight😕 my OB wants me to weigh 130 so that's my goal.
You probably weigh less now than I did at the start of my pregnancy! Nothing wrong with your weight gain 😁👍 Everyone's body is different but for some reason people like to comment & compare... Your doctor is the only one who should give advice about your weight! :)
I will say though, maybe they are just not used to seeing you with a round tummy! I know when I saw my cousin pregnant I said she was huge! I didn't mean it in a bad way, just not the little skinny girl I always knew :) Don't beat yourself up about it. Congrats on having a healthy pregnancy!!! ❤❤
I was the same exact way. 97 pounds before I got pregnant. Gained 40 pounds and 10 weeks after having my baby I'm 112. I love the weight gain Bc I've been trying so hard to gain weight. 🤗
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
