my hospital doesn't do it his pediatrician does and he's almost 2 months I feel bad for waiting so late but they wouldn't do it after I had him @alexislopez

The nurses at the hospital will tell you how to correctly clean it, my son did really well. He just slept the entire day after, it healed within the week too!

My sons healed in a week. Pat dry when doing diaper changes then glob on Vaseline onto some gauze. Put the gauze on the top of the penis and make sure the Vaseline gets all around it so it doesn't stick. I was advised not to use anything but Vaseline.

Yah neosporin is fine too @amberr i just used Vaseline to really glob it on there . Don't be shy about putting a lot on because like other person said it prevents the diaper from sticking .

Neosporn works great too. I used some with my son.

Was super easy! All we did was put Vaseline on it every diaper change . Didn't do anything special and it healed within the week

my son did great. first day was bad just because of incision. but the next week, it was good. baths are okay just be careful cleaning around it. if it looks like the skin is growing back over take your son back to his pedi immediately because sometime it does grow back over. lots of Vaseline and cleaning when doing diapers changes as well.
