My step daughter is 11 and for Christmas I had a hard picking out gifts for her as well as my 9 year old bc they kinda have everything but now they are ungrateful little brats lol! So this is my list
1. Mani and pedi coupon
2. Cell phone only 300 minutes unlimited text no internet
3. Clothes from justice
4. Shoes/ pair of boots
5. New coat/ hat set
She hasn't demonstrated the best behavior this year so we have to work on responsibility. They new are with us full time so although she still goes to the same school she don't get to see her friends like she did.
Is this ok or and suggestions?

@jlf240, she coming from a rough background with her mother. She's the oldest and the only girl so her mom used her as a pawn. But she's a straight A student, but that's why I limited what I was getting her. I have her in several after school programs. @mypeanut I thought the cell phone was a way of teaching her responsibility bc giving her unlimited I see kids don't put down their phones. But that's why I opted out of the internet access. At her moms house she has 3 facebooks that her mom allow her to use, instagram, snap chat, twitter, you name it. But we don't allow her to use them here actually the judge issued them to be taking down but her mom just blocked us from them.

I make the donate at least 3 things to our local homeless shelter every year to get new things. She actually donated her iPod she got last year bc she met a little girl her age who wanted one. She's a good kid just had a rough start in life. So I believe all 28,000 in legal fees my husband spent was well worth it.
