The nurses and other people at this hospital are very friendly, but I cant help but be mad at them right now. I am trying to increase my milk supply, and the lactation consultant advised me to power pump (which takes an hour each time) and try kangaroo care (skin to skin). Now....I want, no I NEED to do these things to increase my milk supply cause I have no milk in the lab. We are allowed to shut the door to our room if I am pumping, but for no more than 30 minutes. So I asked if I could shut the door for about 15 minutes to do skin to skin. They told me no, I cannot shut the door the have some privacy and alone time with MY son.

Maybe some of you ladies are proud to show off your ta-tas, but I am not. There is nothing wrong with it. I am just a very private person and wish to keep it that way.

I got so upset that they told me no, and actually cried. I just dont understand. He is MY baby. Why cant I be alone with my baby?
