Has any mommas got the tdap vaccine? If you have at how many weeks did you get it ?
You have to get it each time you are pregnant bc it is for the baby more than it is for you. The baby cannot get the whooping cough vaccine until 2 months so getting this vaccine protects them.
i wanted to but my OB says it just a money grab every time i asked.
I got mine around 32 weeks. I had a sore arm after but the shot didn't hurt at all. took all of 2 seconds.
i think i got mine at 32 wks and they said it lasts for up to 5 yrs.
It's good for 10 years or the next pregnancy is what I was told. I got mine last minute at 36 weeks. I wasn't planning on getting it at all because I didn't feel it was necessary. Then I went into labor early and freaked out because I kept thinking of my premature baby having no immunity. So I went and got it.
I'm getting it tomorrow at the pharmacy I go to and I will be 29 weeks next week
With my first I got after I had him. It's been 3 years so idk if I'll get again or not
@1sttimemommy84, as the parent I believe you are supposed to get it again. My family got it with my first son and it is good for 5 years.... I got it with my first son, and got it again this time...
I want to say I was around 30 to 33 weeks when I got mine
Is the tdap vaccine the booster shot ? I got all the other vaccines when I was little
@1sttimemommy84, I got it, but don't remember exactly when... maybe 32 weeks?
That is good to know thank you
