wonder if anyone can help me.. my little girl has been poorly for the last week. Drs at the hospital said she has bronchiolitis (viral infection) she's got lots of mucas at the back of the throat which she keeps choking on, sniffly nose, cough and is refusing some bottles. Tonight she did a poop and it was like an army green colour with bits of mucas in.. I this normal? her poop is usually yellow. I haven't changed her formula so I'm thinking it might be down to her being poorly?
My girl is in hospital now as she went into respiratory distress tonight due to it. It's rally horrid. We had been using a humidifier in the room she was in and feeding little and often. But the mucus is from the virus inflaming there tiny airways. My girl was coughing foam up tonight then went blue round her lips as she couldn't take in enough air. Very scary. If in doubt get checked out but I've found them to be very blazay about it as most baby's get it
if it's an infection shouldn't she be on antibiotics? the drs and hospital haven't given me any as they said it's viral.. but I was thinking she probably has a tummy bug because she's projectile vomitted twice in past 2 days xx
I've been in hospital twice with my little girl the last time was in the back of an ambulance.. like you say they are very blazay about it which is so frustrating. it's not nice seeing your little ones struggling when they choke and can't breathe properly it's horrible. hope your little girl gets better soon x
