does anyone know how the measurements work when they measure your belly ? I asked at my appt last week because I was curious what I was measuring at 27 weeks since I have no belly and he said i was measuring 27 weeks which made no sense to me since most people have a big ol belly by now and mines still pretty much flat idk if he was telling me I was 27 weeks or if I was measuring 27 weeks picture posted below just to show how I clearly have no bump still..😒 but hes sending me for a growth scan so we get to see baby again ❤❤❤

It seems to be less on how you're measuring and more on how baby is measuring. I went in at 20 weeks and my belly was completely flat that day. I used to have to eat and time my belly photos to try and show my bump growth to post to my family. If they measure your belly, they're going to have you lay back on the table and they're going to measure you from public bone to sternum with a measuring tape.
@cubanese, right I was the same with my first but it made more sense with him I was extremely sick and was losing weight until like 31 weeks and finally had a small bump lol but her im just small no sickness at all but that makes sense if she is back there why I have back pain all day lol oh well as long as she's nice and fat when she's born ill be happy 😁
@shellbell0391, yeah maybe ill start growing now that im in my third trimester hopefully lol it just feels so weird being so far along and this small by the end shell be so squished she wont be able to move 😂
@cubanese, this is my second also lol and I haven't gained a single pound so I guess that's also why im worried
oh okay I guess that makes more sense thanks @mrs.n2014. 😊 I always thought they were measuring my stomach and was confused because there's really not much there to measure 😂
well I know that but they do measure your belly every appt to check and make sure there is room or if your growing to fast @cubanese I know the baby could be growing fine but we wouldn't know that until I have a ultrasound I haven't had one since 17 weeks
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I just got out of my 28 week appointment, and my doctor still hasn’t measured my belly. Is this normal? I thought since I was in my third trimester she would measure me by now. I have no idea how much he weighs or anything.
This is my son Walter. Today is his birthday. He would have been five. This picture was taken when he was 16 days old. He was my first child and my only son (I now have 3 girls). He passed away the next day after this picture from congenital heart failure. It was a miracle that he lived passed 12 weeks gestation because of how severe his heart defects were. I miss him so much, I can't believe it's been 5 years. It still hurts so bad. I don't talk about him a lot out loud because I end up bawling...
I really don’t think people get it. I got asked how many ultrasounds I was going to have this pregnancy. And to be honest it’s more than I would like to have. Dating scan was yesterday, NT scan is in three weeks and starting at 16 weeks I’ll have monthly ultrasounds to measure my Cervix. Apparently I’m ungrateful and lucky. 🙄 There is nothing lucky about having to constantly worry about how long you’ll stay pregnant for.
any mommys that have there belly percied? how many weeks untill you took it out? im 23 weeks and i have the ring for pregnant women but still been thinking about it
they can feel the placenta, and measure how long it is by centimeters. and thats usually comparimg it to how many weeks you are. im always measuring a centimeter less than the weeks i am, but its normal to be within a couple cm. it gets longer in belly each. week as baby grows. and they can feel where baby is located and laying so they can get good educated guesses
