Not having money for Christmas is really taking a toll on me this year.
I've always had money and could buy everyone presents and still have some money left over. This year I will maybe have $200. I have to pay half my sons presents so $125. And my boyfriend said he expects gifts too. What he wants is a good $250. He says use his money but I hate that. And on top of that I have to put $100 down to hold my spot for a boudoir shoot for his Valentine's Day present. I just want to cry

nooo it shpuldnt...we dont do gifts..my family does but me and my husband. .give gifts early or late...we get a cake instead since its cerebrating a birthday not gifts...and i dont think a baby will remember..maybe he can get valentines i stead since he is your mini love and something small on Christmas

@kambam, that's what I said! He says it's because last year when I was pregnant I got him baby stuff 😒 (daddy diaper bag, custom onesie that had his last name, baseball baby stuff) and because I'm getting from him. I said I don't want gifts 🙄

wow he expects a gift that's kind of rude at least your thinking of the baby first that's the main thing. I know how you feel I won't be able to even get a tree for my kids 😔.
