So I've been sick and I took DayQuil and Tylenol earlier at 1:30pm and again at 7:00pm. How long should I wait before breast feeding? Google didn't give me the answer I was looking for so hopefully one of you can! I don't have any formula and I only have 4oz of breast milk in the fridge.

You really aren't supposed to take over the counter cold medications at all when breastfeeding, so I wouldn't take it again. Some of the medications can transfer to breastmilk and decongestants can dry up your milk supply with repeated use. This website is helpful. It doesn't give the exact amount of time it takes to get out of your system, but it should give you some info so you can make a decision:

@moorrggiee, I totally get it. I'm not trying to judge you for it. I hope it didn't come across that way. I honestly didn't know that decongestants can dry up your milk until very recently!

@ciraclesmiracle, no I didn't take it offensively! Trust me I didn't want to take anything but my body felt so sick and weak I could barely even care for her. My boyfriend is sick too so it's just all bad for us right now
