did anyone else let their family know not to kiss their baby when he/she is born? for health reasons. we told my in laws tonight that when she comes we didn't want anyone kissing her because of possible germs and they FREAKED OUT. I'm not saying they can't kiss her EVER. just the first couple days or until we feel comfortable. they just came back from a cruise and who knows what they could have picked up! I feel like it's not unreasonable to ask people to keep their mouths off her and wash their hands right?

you're welcome momma! you have the say so in your baby. don't let them make u feel bad for ANYTHING u decide. my In laws are currently upset with me because I won't let them watch my baby. lol she's not even 3 months & ONLY breastfeeds & I'm planning on keeping it that way. they want me to pump. haha

well I didn't let anyone hold mine until the 2nd day. germs help the baby's immune system get stronger but if they had just got back from a cruise I would have made them wait a few days too.
