Going to my 38weeks appointment with midwife today at 3pm and she is doing my sweep as well. Did it ever worked on any…

i had a sweep with my last baby 10 am wednesday morning and was in abour by 4 am x

@laura16, oh because they offer u one at 38weeks and another at 40weeks so I took an offer 😉 x

@myfirstbaby2016, I hope it works for you, can I ask why you are having one at 38 weeks? I'm due tomorrow and have a sweep booked in at 41 weeks x

Umm I was 38 weeks X I was having contractions every 4-5 minutes and they were getting closer together and more painful. she was back to back so was told to bounce on ball etc the ball really helped during labour!!

@mimibear, ohh that's good. how many weeks was u? Do you feel any pains when u dilate at the beginning. X

I had a sweep when I was in early labour, was about 1-2cm and she could feel babies head lol two hours after my waters went and she was born 8 hours later X

@holliesinead, i am really hoping that my baby will come soon really want to hold him and see how he looks like 😊😝 . X

Mine worked but I was 41 weeks and she could feel the head when she done it so think my body was ready but my waters only went he still didn't come xx

@sara87, oh that's great I hope my one works too. But seems like a lot of girls saying it doesn't work from the first time 🙁 or if it does then it's over 40weeks. But I still hoping to see my baby before his due date 😍 💙 xx

i had a sweep at 38 weeks worked for me with in 24 hours x

I had a sweep on my due date. However I was 2cm dilated and soft/effaced. Had my daughter the next day at 6pm. With my second I had a sweep a sweep at 39 weeks just before induction but it didn't work. Cervix was unfavourable.
