How soon did you guys start letting your mother, mother in law, etc start watching your child in their home?? I'm just curious to know if my way of thinking is harsh 😳
I had my sister in law watch my son at 10 weeks, my mother in law doesn't live in the country, my SIL is the closest to an in law I have. but she also watches her cousins kids too, she's really good with kids. I live with my mom but she's either working or going out with my step dad so my next option is my SIL otherwise that I wouldn't let anyone else watch him
My mom is just constantly anxious and nervous and she freaks out really easily. I swear she causes anxiety with everyone around her and I just don't want that around the baby. Being in their house makes me anxious lol.

well my in laws don't watch or keep my kids until after they are 1 and walking. I normally am there with my children. my parents and in laws don't really watch kids anyways so I don't have to worry about it. I have my kids 24/7. I have maybe taken them to my parents or in laws 12 times in life and my son's are 5 and 2. it was never over night
@shellbell0391, yes it's almost like they are so excited but they are asking for things they didn't even allow with us as kids but want to be upset when you tell them no lol
I see how my in laws deal with my 2 step kids and I refuse to let them neglect my son the same way. and my parents can screw off. they tried to call child services bc I asked for 20 dollars one time lmao
My mom has these plans that she's gonna be spending all this time with the baby. I hope she knows she'll see him often but it's not gonna be as often as she's making it out to be. Already talking about taking him on weekend trips. Like can you let me and ian and the baby be a family for a little while??? I don't ever remember taking trips with my grandparents or even staying the night there but maybe once or twice
@cubanese, @owenjacesmama @beebaby I trust them because my mother in law keeps her grandkids all the time which I've been around to see and my mom has been in a daycare all her life it's just the fact that I feel it's to soon for someone else to be watching them when I'm off and could be spending that time with him. I don't want to share honestly 😂😂😂

when they baby proofed the house and I took them over and see how they watched my kids while I was there
@mrs.n2014, oh well I definitely understand that. It's not that I don't trust them or anything but I want us to build that bond and get on a little routine somewhat before everyone is babysitting him. I'm just glad I'm not the only one thinking this way
@cubanese, @bonniesue ok whew THANK YOU!!!! I have a someone thinking they will be watching my son before he is even 8 weeks I'm like ummmmm negative!!! I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one thinking this way. Thank god my fiancé agrees with me 100%. It would be longer than 8 weeks if I didn't have to go back to work 😫
I think my son was 10 months or 11 months and I let my mother in law watch my son for 3 hours. He came back naked, a huge bruise on his face and had been given food I didn't ok. Never again lol
