So Marley has decided she wants to boycott sleep at night and just wants to scream now, she screamed for about 5 hours last night😭 how do I get her to sleep?! We've been trying white noise and it'll calm her down for a few mins but won't make her sleepy

When I helped my friend with her colic baby girl. I played a heartbeat sound while I rocked her to sleep in her bassinet. The sounds of a beating heart has a natural calming effect.

don't know if it will help but when my little one wouldn't stop crying we would swaddle her. rock her gently back and forth on our knees while shushing in her ear. she would quiet down. something about making them feel like they were still in the womb with the blood rushing around them

I wish we could swaddle my daughter, but we can't with @zehmbabies the brace she has to wear

well you could still gently rock her answer shush. baby's sense when you get frazzled so sometimes it's hard but keep calm.

idk how comfortable you'd be with this but we lay our daughter on a thick blanket on the floor and have small space heater a safe distance away. she doesn't like swaddling bc she likes to stretch out so it keeps her warm without a blanket, she calms right down. we don't leave her alone and make sure she's not getting to warm

While I was at the hospital they said around 2 months babies just scream and no matter what you do they keep screaming and that it's normal but if it's only at bed time idk if its that. Autumn used to and sometime still does scream when it's time for bed. I co sleep so I just let her scream and I hold her arms down(gently) by her side or else she'll start throwing them around and make herself more upset and when she's stopped screaming for half a second I try to give her her binky to see if she'll take it. Sometimes she does and it helps and sometimes it doesn't so we do it all over again until she stops screaming for a second. Also I've realized autumn likes to eat right before bed and sometimes she likes to fall asleep with a bottle(I know bad habit) lol I hoped that may help some.
