So I went to the er tonight because I have mastitis they put me on antibiotics and just told me to take Tylenol well now I'm running a 102.4 fever and shaking like crazy should I go back to the ER?
Oh my! I'm so sorry that had to be painful! They were saying something taken a needle to me because I have a milk blister 😔 but I'm sure it won't be too painful @sexii_diiva
I guess mine was too bad and I had like an abcest in my chest. They either had to take a needle and suck it out but I would wide awake or put me down under and drain my boob. I chose to get drained
Hope you feel better also! @hiswifetheirmama pump and breast feed as much as you can warm baths and massages! Always worked when I had a clogged milk duct and I could rid of it within 24 hours! @hiswifetheirmama
Me 2! @hiswifetheirmama we are suppose to travel to my in laws 6 hours away but if I still feel this way I might just stay home the baby and I have my husband and 2 other boys go I'm hoping by morning I'll feel a lot better and can go!
Yeah I figured they most likely just bring my fever down send me back home just jumped right back up why I was worried I'll definitely do the heating/ice packs thank you @princessmama and @hiswifetheirmama do you have any red marks or lines on your breast or a hard lump doesn't seem to go away if you are getting flu like symptoms I'd definitely head to the er because my doctor said the infection bad can get into your blood stream that's what push me to go I freaked out but if you think it's mastitis go get checked out to be safe the longer you wait the worst it can get :( I pray just a clogged milk duct for you not mastitis! Keep me updated! @hiswifetheirmama
Honestly they send you home again. I would take some Motrin to bring down your fever and drink lots of water. Use a heating/ice pack pad to help the swelling
